CHASE Offline

How Does The Offline Version Work?

Therapists download their version of CHASE onto their computer and the software becomes the customizable light bar and interactive evaluation pages on your screen.

Therapist enters a name and clicks LOGIN.

Therapist enters the password that will be sent within 24-48 hours after purchase and clicks LOGIN.

Theme Setting Page

Therapist can now allow their clients to design their own customizable light bar, which they will follow on the MAIN PAGE.

Clients can select from various options of background settings; foreground objects to visually track and choices of bilateral sounds (headphones are encouraged). Once the options are selected, click NEXT.

Interactive Evaluation Pages

These screens use visual learning tools to help clients identify components of memory and rate SUDS.

Interactive Evaluation Pages

Interactive Evaluation Pages

Interactive Evaluation Pages

They can rate their SUDS if processing traumatic events.

Interactive Evaluation Pages

They can use colors to represent their emotions, to visually express how big the feelings are and where they are in their body.

Control Panel Page

This screen is where clients first see the scene and foreground object that they will visually track on the MAIN PAGE.

Control Panel Page

The screen allows for options to adjust the size of the object or rotation.

The therapist sets the speed and length of set for the initial set by using the slider buttons, then manages the BLS in subsequent sets with the use of HOT KEYS (described below). The initial set is timed for 20 seconds.

Control Panel Page

Time can be added in 10 second increments by using the HOT KEY “A” (for ADD time) on the main page.
Speed of BLS can be adjusted using the HOT KEY “F” (for FASTER) of the HOT KEY “S” (for SLOWER).

What Are Hot Keys And Why Are They Important?

Hot keys are designed to let you adjust the bilateral setting options without having to navigate off of the MAIN PAGE. Once you have set the initial parameters for speed and length of set on the CONTROL PANEL PAGE, use the hot keys as shortcuts.

The hot keys are keyboard shortcuts that can be used to adjust the BLS settings while on the MAIN PAGE. After the START button is pushed, pressing any of these keys will do following:

R – restart set

P – pause/unpause set

F – faster (increases the speed of the foreground object)

S – slower (decreases the speed of the foreground object)

A – add time to the set (increases by 10 second increments)

Z – remove time from the set (decreases by 10 second increments)

E – evaluate – takes you to the evaluation screen to assess SUDS

C – control panel – takes you to the control panel screen where you can adjust settings

Why Is there A Start Button?

This page is included to help the therapist prepare and set up the target – for either resourcing or for trauma processing.

This is when Phase 3 questions should be asked, before bilateral stimulation begins on the following MAIN PAGE.
